This year's art students are starting with some new projects.
  • They were told to research a cultural mask of their choice.
Gather facts and write an                            essay that explores the history.
  • Their next step was to re-create their mask in a 3-d format. The following images display the steps involved to produce the mask.
PINHOLE CAMERA

Ever wonder what can be done with an old paint can?
Well, this year's students made pin hole camera images
(also known as camera obscura)

The paint can allowed students to record an inverted image formed by light rays that passed through the pinhole and into the darkened can.
